SumAll Shortcuts...Give Them A Try

We've tried to design SumAll as an easy-to-use tool, and that means baked in keyboard shortcuts!

We've included explanations for each of them below, and encourage you to play with them as you look around and get more and more comfortable with the tool.

Left/Right Arrows: You can use your arrow keys to move your chart backward and forward in time. If you keep either button pressed down, you'll begin to scroll through time periods very quickly. Smart panning is implemented here, so each time you press the arrow key you'll move forward or back a set amount of time (this will vary depending on what view you are in).

  • HOURLY - first press moves to the closest Midnight, each successive press moves 24 hours.
  • DAILY - first press moves to the first Monday at Midnight; each successive press moves 7 days.
  • WEEKLY - first press moves to the first Monday of the month; each successive press moves to the first Monday of the next month.
  • MONTHLY - always moves 3 months at a time

Up/Down Arrows:
These will help you zoom in or out in time. You will always move according to smart presets and switches to the appropriate granularity.

  • HOURLY - 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours, 96 hours and 168 hours.
  • DAILY - 14 days, 21 days, 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, 120 days, 150 days.
  • WEEKLY - 26 weeks, 39 weeks, 52 weeks, 104 weeks.
  • MONTHLY - 36 months, 48 months, and then every 12 months after that.

G Key:
Pressing the "G" key will allow you to change granularity, only if you are in the appropriate time range. And so, looking at 30 days can be expressed in weeks or days, but not hours and months.

ESC: Pressing the ESC key will allow you to either open or close your home screen.

H Key: Press your "H" key whenever you need to bring up the help dialog box.
