Want to See How Your Competitors Stack Up? Here’s How.

Now that you’ve connected your 200 Facebook Pages you want to track (most likely less) and have compared them against each other to uncover which one is performing better, it’s time to see how your competitors’ performance stacks up.

With our Moz integration, anyone with a SumAll account can connect to Moz, input any competitor’s website URL, and track that website’s External Links, MozRank, and Domain Authority. Let’s go through what some of those terms mean and how to connect to Moz to track the competition.

1. Select Moz from the Platforms Page and click the "Connect Moz" button.

2. Type in the URL of the website you wish to track (most likely your own).

3. Click "Select another Moz" to enter your competitor’s URL this time.

4. Track the results.

In this example, your website, RagingDaisies.com, is displayed on the same chart as your bitter rival, ComingUpDaisies.com. The metric that is being measured, External Links, tells you the number of times other websites link to your site. As you can see, you consistently have more External Links than your competitor which means your website is gaining visibility and featured on more websites.

Other types of data you can track is MozRank which is a link popularity score that that has a value between 1 and 10. Domain Authority is the best prediction of how well your website will perform in search rankings.

Try out our new feature now and see how you measure up against your competition.
