Why All Your Google Analytics Profiles Should Be Connected
While Google Analytics is great for drilling deep down into the depths of your website data, it’s not so awesome for comparing segments of data across multiple website profiles. The most interesting insights emerge when you compare different sources of data together, that’s why SumAll allows you to connect multiple Google Analytics accounts and profiles in one place.
You’ve already learned how to connect more than one Facebook account (here’s a refresher), now see how to do the same with Google Analytics.
1. Select Google Analytics from the Platforms Page and press the Connect Facebook button.
2. Select the Google Analytics profile you want to use and save.
3. After connecting the first profile, click Connect Another Google Analytics. Rinse and repeat.
4. Compare all your website properties against each other.
Once you have all your websites up on SumAll, you can compare metrics like visits, page views, and bounces across all your properties. This way, you can quickly observe both positive and negative trends which would act as a signal to you if one of your websites is experiencing a downward trend when it normally shouldn’t (and vice versa).
The best reason for putting all of your Google Analytics data in one place is a simple one: ease of access. It’s tedious to switch from one profile to the next, noting changes in traffic volume, new sources of referral traffic, improvements in bounce rate, and other data you want to keep track of in order to make sure your online marketing efforts are working.
This means you can spend more time working on campaigns and less time analyzing results. Connect all your Google Analytics profiles to get the entire view of your website traffic in seconds.
